Advance the change process through shared learning, mentorship, and collaboration!
Health Innovation Group hosts two networks:
- Health Home Leaders Network
- QI Practice Facilitation Network
Health Home Leaders Network: The HIG Health Home Leaders Network is for leaders to connect, share ideas and accelerate their improvement journey. The sessions take place monthly and feature specific topics followed by an open discussion amongst the group. The goals of the session include:
- Fostering specific leadership behaviours that inspire team members
- Identifying potentially better practices that are effective in primary and specialty care clinic environments
- How to identify practice champions and influencing peers in overcoming common challenges of practice renewal
QI Practice Facilitation Network: The HIG QI Practice Facilitation Network is for new or experienced practice facilitators who would like to engage with others across the country. The network takes place monthly and begins with a short informational topic followed by a group discussion. The goals of the network include:
- Sharing strategies on how to engage practices in improvement activities
- Understanding and sharing communication and facilitation best practices
- Fostering peer-to-peer connections
Health Innovation Group Retreats: HIG also organises Canadian Leadership Retreats which provide participants with the opportunity to connect with peers face-to-face, build individual professional networks and learn about innovative approaches to practice improvement from healthcare leaders across Canada.
