As a specialist in primary health care improvement and learning, Shaelynn brings experience and expertise in interactive curriculum design, engagement, and coaching for practical quality improvement programming. Shaelynn has developed engaging quality improvement workshops and workbooks that are tailored to meet the assessed needs of practice facilitators, physicians and their teams across Canada. Working on provincial, national, and international programs, using a competency-based approach she ensures learners have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully apply their understanding in any practice environment. At HIG, Shaelynn has developed the HIG Patient’s Medical Home Practice Facilitation program, which include educational curriculum, content, programs, assessment tools, and participant resources for virtual and in-person offerings. Shaelynn leads groups and facilitates program delivery, all while building consensus amongst teams, also creating and choosing activities that strengthen team functioning skills.
